It is the intention of the Delaware Martial Arts Center, LLC to develop students of good character, who have no criminal record, and do not abuse drugs or alcohol. Membership at the Delaware Martial Arts Center, LLC is contingent upon meeting those three criteria.
About Membership:
Anyone who meets the above criteria is welcome to apply for membership at the Delaware Martial Arts Center, LLC. Our students come from all walks of life and have diverse backgrounds. The training environment is safe and inviting, and both instructors and students are encouraged to be helpful and courteous. There are no cliques or special groups, and all student promotions are evaluated on the quality of the students commitment to training, and the merits of their character.
What new students can expect:
Any new environment can be stressful especially for students new to the martial arts. At the Delaware Martial Arts Center, LLC both instructors and students are encouraged to help new students adjust to the training process. Instructors are always available for information or advice and training expectations are made clear and definable in an effort to assist students with development as martial artists, yoga students or with individual growth.
About cost and commitment:
Any good relationship has an exchange in value and an agreed upon level of commitment. In exchange for a solid commitment from our instructors, we expect a solid commitment from our students. We expect that a student will stay long enough to learn a basic set of self defense skills, adopt a healthy lifestyle, develop lasting friendships and become a recognized member of our school.
Student agreements are a year in length and are usually renewed on the enrollment date. Monthly unlimted membership dues are priced below the local average and martial arts tesing fees are nominal. Both children and adult students maytake advantage of our 10 Days For $10 trial offer. Special discounts are also offered to students who travel a significant distance to train.
