The Lion Cub Club™

About The Lion Cub Club™: [See all available training.]

Lion Cub Club™ students are taught how to recognize everyday situations that could lead to confrontation. They also learn the most common tricks used by individuals who seek to abuse, abduct, and exploit. De-escalation, escape from physical assault, and where to access help are also addressed. Techniques taught to children come from a wide variety of arts and are used for physical conditioning and to help children extricate themselves from unsafe situations. We also integrate activities that help to foster high self esteem, good character, and personal wellness and responsibility. All Lion Cub Club™ training and activities are done in an environment that promotes a child's natural sense of adventure and exploration. Our primary goal with our younger students is that they become healthy, well-adjusted, and productive members of society.

Lion Cub Club™Students:

Lion Cub Club™ students range in age from 6 to 13 years old. A typical Lion Cub Club™ student will train two to three times a week after school in the evenings. All students are required to wear appropriate training attire which consists of a white uniform, and a colored belt that corresponds with their rank. Lion Cub Club™ students come from all walks of life and are encouraged to be courteous, helpful and inviting to new students and other classmates. An actively training Lion Cub Club™ student will stand out among his/her school-aged peers because of their confidence, character and high self-esteem.
